Marwan Kawasmeh and Imad Abu-Eisha, the kidnappers and murderers of Gilad Shaar, Naftali Frenkel and Eyal Yifrach are still at large, four weeks after the incident. The boys HY”D were abducted from Alon Shvut Junction in Gush Etzion on a Thursday night, the eve of 5 Sivan 5774. Their disappearance led to Operation Brothers Return. Their lifeless bodies were discovered in a field near Halhul north of Hebron 18 days later.
The manhunt for the terrorists continued with Israel vowing to bring them to justice. However, Operation Protective Edge was launched and compulsory troops from Givati, Paratroops and Nachal were shifted to the Gaza areas, replaced by reservists.
Many wonder what the situation is vis-à-vis the manhunt and the state’s commitment to bring the terrorists to justice.

They will be found. At present though manpower is needed for other things. B”H they were brought to kever Yisroel. The killers can sweat for a bit longer. Finding them and hopefully needing to shoot them as they try to attack those who come to arrest them can take more time.
