The twitter account belonging to the IDF Spokesperson @IDFSpokesperson was hacked a short while ago. The hack appears to have been done by the “Syrian Electronic Army”. A tweet was sent out which read “#WARNING: Possible nuclear leak in the region after 2 rockets hit Dimona nuclear facility”.

The tweet has since been removed, but a screenshot appears above.

There has been no comment by the IDF regarding the hack.
