Speaking to the media MK Moshe Feiglin addressed two issues, including the price paid by Israel for the Shalit deal. He states with sorrow that the price is only stage one, detailing first soldiers are placed at risk, followed by the need to imprison and feed the terrorists instead of eliminating them.

He points to Jonathan Pollard, “Who is being held hostage by the United States for example”, he added. He points out that when Pollard realized deals were being made he stated he would not accept release if freedom carried the price of releasing terrorists because of him.

Feiglin questions how intelligence community heads were not shouting against it as the professionals who should warn us, and as a result of this mistaken policy the three youths are captives today.

Feiglin explains that today he is an MK and things are different when he speaks but he is steadfast in his position, even if it is unpopular. Feiglin emphasizes the country must begin being less concerned with international opinion and pressure and more concerned doing the correct thing for Israel’s security.
