After making the headline news last week by justifying the actions of Hamas terrorists that kidnapped three yeshiva students, MK (United Arab List) Hanin Zoabi is likely to be investigated by Israel Police. Police officials on Sunday 24 Sivan recommended the investigation after he comments elicited the ire of many elected officials and citizens alike.
Police have passed the recommendation to Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein to render a decision in the matter.
The MK will have to agree to wave her parliamentary immunity of the Knesset will have to strip her of her immunity. If this does not occur she remains immune to criminal prosecution.
Zoabi is no stranger to being at odds with the law. She was also proud of her participation in the Mavi Marmara terrorist vessel, which set out to break the IDF marine blockade on Gaza in 2010. The Supreme Court came to her rescue in this case, preventing criminal charges.
Prior to the last Knesset election, the Central Election Committee voted to disqualify Zoabi from running again for an elected post. The Supreme Court however overturned the decision coming to her rescue once again, clearing the way to for her to serve another term in Knesset.

Is there a big different between saying words in favor of kidnapping or actually releasing 1000’s of killers who come back to kill and kidnap, isn’t it only fair to also investigate those who stood behind releasing those killers and bring them to justice , or is politics more important than the life of our dearest boys
