Jerusalem Police on Friday 22 Sivan announced restrictions for Muslim worshippers on Har Habayis. The announcement stated the decision is based on intelligence information that youths plan disturbances on erev Shabbos as was the case last erev Shabbos.
As such, police restricted entry to men 50-years-old and older and holders of a blue (Israeli) identity card. Hence PA (Palestinian Authority) residents and younger men are barred. There were no restriction sets for women.
