Mrs. Rachel Frenkel, the mother of Naftali, one of the three captive yeshiva students, sent a thank you note to security forces.
“This bizarre situation created for us a kind of expanded consciousness in which each and every one of you is like a son to us,” she wrote in a letter published to Facebook and the media.

“We are given to wandering thoughts regarding Naftali and his friends and our tefilos that each and every one of you return home safe and sound and with the feeling that he, on behalf of the State of Israel, did everything possible and acted correctly.
“We give you all a hug as well as your parents and siblings. We rely upon you totally, 200% and thank you far more than words can express.
