A poll of New York voters shows Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo leading little-known Republican Rob Astorino by a large margin in the race for governor.
The Siena College poll of 835 registered voters last week shows 57 percent would re-elect Cuomo.
It shows 18 percent have a favorable opinion and 69 percent no opinion about Astorino, the Westchester County executive.
In the attorney general’s race, 41 percent would re-elect Democrat Eric Schneiderman. While 12 percent have a favorable opinion of Republican John Cahill, 78 percent have no opinion.
In the comptroller’s race, 38 percent would re-elect Democrat Thomas DiNapoli. While 9 percent have a favorable opinion of Republican Robert Antonacci, the Onondaga County comptroller, 82 percent have no opinion.
The poll’s margin of error is 3.4 percentage points.
