As Israeli TV and radio media dedicates its prime coverage to the ongoing search for the three Jewish teens abducted by terrorists, we get a look at the international media’s coverage of the event.
Interestingly, the international media takes its cue from Israel. This is not a new concept but we are reminded here just how potent our words in Israel are and how they ring out to the international community. One prime example is most broadcasts that provide background information into previous terrorists abductions such as Nachshon Wachsman HY”D, Avi Sasportas HY”D and others speak of “abductions of soldiers, settlers and citizens”
Amazingly, while many or most Israelis do not detect the nuance of the leftist secular Israeli media, “settlers” are categorized independently of “citizens” and this is echoed by the world broadcasts.
The limited coverage in Europe and other continents speaks of “settler youths who were abducted while hitchhiking”, intimating they may be partially at fault. One wise media analyst in Israel asked the following: What would be the response of the international media community if settlers abducted three PA residents?
Most can imagine the picture would be a different, including US Secretary of State John Kerry parve conversations with both PM Netanyahu and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) as he expresses his concern for the collapsed so-called peace process.

I have a simple question:
Why can’t all terorist swep deals be made on condition that if any new capture happens, the deal is reverted and the terrorists must return to jail!
This makes so much common scence, if they don’t have plans to capture more jews then agree to the condition, otherwise why should we ever let them go?

What i meant to say is that all freed terorists (1000+) should go back to jail if even one jew is ever captured by any terror organization, the IDF knows where most freed terrorists are located and they are not hiding.

The best way to get news coverage is not to compete with big breaking stories that are more important.
Compared to what is happening elsewhere (Iraq, Nigeria, etc.), this is small. Also note that only two of the boys were children (legally), the other was over 18 and in a military-connected training program. Compare this to the kidnapping by a related terrorist group of hundreds of girls in Nigeria, or the massacres of hundreds of people in Iraq, but of which threated to become full fledged fronts in the ongoing “War on Terrorism” (as everyone except Obama and the Democrats perceive it).
Note as well that Israel doesn’t take its war with terrorists very seriously. A large number of Israelis, not just hareidim, refuse to serve in the army or by various means manage to be “jobniks” in the IDF. Israel has a boom civilian economy, and in truth, most Israelis want the country known as a haven for gay rights and high tech – rather than being a war zone.
