IDF soldiers operating in the Hebron district during the night on motzei Shabbos arrested 80 suspects in questioning connected to the terrorist kidnapping of three youths. According to Arab media sources, 16 additional suspects were arrested on Shabbos.
One of the suspects in custody is Hassan Yousef, a senior Hamas legislator in the PA (Palestinian Authority).
Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon ordered a closure on PA areas in the Hebron district as well as the continued closure of the Kerem Shalom and Erez Crossings to Gaza. Exceptions will be made in cases of humanitarian need. The minister also canceled visitation privileges for all terrorists imprisoned in Israel.
In the meantime, large numbers of IDF soldiers including elite units continue house-to-house searches in the Hebron and S. Hebron Hills areas in the hope of funding the hostages; 16-year-old Naftali Frenkel, 16-year-old Gilad Shaar and 19-year-old Eyal Yifrach. The IDF is using other means in the search as well but it is now clear that as time passes, officials are hoping they will get a credible lead via information obtained from the PA residents taken into custody for questioning.
During a motzei Shabbos televised press conference, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon and IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz promised everything possible will be done as efforts continue to bring the three home safely.

Do you really know he has not davened?
And in any case, didn’t we elect him to do hishtadlus? Isn’t his job to send out troops and police? To search homes and question people? He is doing exactly what we hired him to do for us, and he is doing his best.
