Caesars Entertainment thanked the village of Woodbury for supporting its proposed casino in Orange County, about 60 miles from Manhattan. Also in Orange County, the Middletown Times Herald Record reports that Genting Americas won approval from the Montgomery town board for a proposed casino off Route 17K and Interstate 84.
In the Albany area, the East Greenbush town board endorsed a casino proposal from Saratoga Casino and Gaming and Churchill Downs Inc.
