After consulting with the senior gadol’s medical team and askan R’ Binyamin Fisher, it has been decided that HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Auerbach Shlita will remain in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital over Shavuos.
Persons close to the rav explain that while he feels okay, he is still weak and it has been decided the hospital environment and additional rest may improve his condition. The rav was diagnosed with pneumonia and is receiving antibiotic therapy.
The rav arrived at Hadassah on Monday night the eve of 5 Sivan with a relatively high fever. The diagnosis was made and on Tuesday morning it was decided that it is best for him to remain hospitalized over yomtov.
The tzibur is asked to be mispallel for

How bad must a situation get chas v’shalom in order for a person to wake up & change his/her ways?
too bad, in todays generation, no matter how tragic things get, nothing will ever change a person to confess & admit that we need to return to Hashem… i.e. it used to bother me-for years- whenever tragedy struck rachmana l’tzlan, but now I have seen that nothing can wake us up, so its really caused by US not waking up
