HaGaon HaRav David Yosef Shlita has filed an official complaint with police following the release of a forged letter claiming to be in his name. The letter states that former Shas leader Eli Yishai should be distanced from the inner circle and excluded from the guest list of Shas faction members making a simcha.

Rav Yosef is out of Israel at present and empowered someone to file the police complaint on his behalf. Representatives of Rav David Yosef express outrage on his behalf, adding they hope to find out who is behind the heinous act.
