Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has reiterated his position that he will never enter into talks with Hamas. He remarks precede the PA (Palestinian Authority) entering into a coalition government with Hamas.
At the start of the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday 3 Sivan Mr. Netanyahu added “I call on all responsible elements in the international community not to run to recognize the Palestinian government of which Hamas is a part and which rests on Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organization that calls for the destruction of Israel and the international community must not embrace it. This will not strengthen peace; it will strengthen terrorism”.

Yes sure…. Until …. Or when….
You are finally talking some sense PM… good for you
If you are at war with someone, refusing to talk to them precludes peace, unless you are prepared to fight until they are totally conquered.
In World War II, the Allied refusal to negotiate with the Germans possibly prolonged the war by almost a year (during which a great many Jews died). By way of contrast, dropping our demand for unconditional surrender resulted in Japan being willing to surrender much earlier, saving perhaps a million Allied lives.

I must respectfully disagree with you. Japan’s surrender in WW2 was unconditional. Read the eight-paragraph “Article of Surrender,” paragraph 2, in archives.gov.
