Border police late Tuesday night 27 Iyar 5774 arrested three Arabs in al-Aqsa Mosque on Har Habayis to prevent them from holding up in the mosque, PA (Palestinian Authority) news agencies report.

The report quotes eyewitnesses stating tens of Arab youths managed to remain in the mosque after the conclusion of evening prayer services despite efforts by police to clear the mosque.

The PA report states their presence was an act of protest against Jews wishing to daven on Har Habayis.

On Wednesday morning 28 Iyar police were attacked with rocks in the area of the Mughrabi Gate entrance to Har Habayis. Police dispersed the attackers. No injuries were reported.
