Four IDF soldiers from the Paratroop Brigade were injured in a bomb explosion in the Golan Heights about two months ago. Three of the soldiers sustained light injuries and the fourth was in serious condition. It is now reported the seriously injured soldier’s condition has deteriorated and doctors in the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa are working to stabilize his condition.

The attack occurred when the 202nd Paratrooper Battalion was patrolling the Syrian border. The patrol received a report of suspicious persons in the border area. The patrol responded and shortly after exiting their armored vehicle the powerful bomb was detonated.

The four were transported to Rambam by chopper and the IDF responded with artillery fire and Tammuz missiles.
