A number of talmidim from Yeshivas Birchas Yitzchak in Ohr Yehuda were victims of a hate verbal attack as they walked in the city. They told authorities that two males begin shouting obscenities at them including “Hitler should have killed all of you!” They opted to run from the area.
The incident occurred on the eve of Independence Day. They report the attackers were skinheads.
They left the yeshiva and when they reached Ben Porat Street in Ohr Yeshua the two skinheads began cursing them. Kikar Shabbos explains one of the talmidim explained they left yeshiva after dinner to get some exercise.
The talmidim feel that if they did not flee but opted to confront the attackers the outcome would not have been a good one. They feel the general anti-chareidi atmosphere that exists in the country was a major contributory factor to the incident.

Now what could have possibly given them that idea?
