Attorney Navot Tel-Tzur expressed harsh criticism of the announcement, the decision by police to recommend a criminal indictment against Holon Chief Rabbi Avraham Yosef Shlita.
In addition, Tel-Tzur feels it is most inappropriate for police to announce its recommendation at this preliminary stage of the case, prior to the prosecutor and attorney general reviewing the evidence in hand. Tel-Tzur added he client cooperated with police throughout the investigation and he continues to deny any illegal activity.
The rav stands accused of using his position of authority as a state-appointed city chief rabbi to compel stores with a mehadrin hashgacha from the local rabbinate to buy products with a hashgacha from Badatz Beit Yosef, which is run by a member of the Yosef family.

Israel has no constitution and runs its legal system by caprice and political agenda. This vendetta against the Torah and rabbanim will eventually backfire. The True Judge will exact Divine justice on those who are persecuting the Torah community.
#1 nice comment yet no connection to case at hand.
The attorney did not defend the rabbi’s actions. He simply criticized the way the prosecutor worked the case. Why did he not defend him???
#1… There is no comparison to what the True Judge will do to people who make such chillul Hashems. They are going to get good petch!
