Elad residents on isru chag Pesach were shocked to see anti-Sephardi graffiti on the walls of the Maor David Shul in Elad. Elad police have been notified and an investigation has been launched.

The Sephardi shul is located on HaMeiri Street in the chareidi community. Rabbi Eliyahu Fadidah is the mora d’asra. Mispallalim revealed the graffiti when they arrived for minyan. The rav stated that he is confident the incident is not the result of machlokes between Ashkenazim and Sephardim but more likely the work of misguided community youths.
