Binyamin Richter, who is suspected of taking part in a price tag arson attack in the village of Farata, has been ordered held without bail. The Supreme Court on Thursday, 17 Nissan 5774 accepted an appeal from the state. The prosecution sought to overturn a district court ruling permitting Richter’s release on bail.
Among the charges being filed against Richer are conspiracy, vandalism, and arson in connection with a hate crime. Richter is accused of working with two co-defendants and allegedly on the night of 16 Kislev, they traveled to Farata near Gilad Farm in the Shomron, wore gloves, and used a flammable substance to set vehicles ablaze.
According to the indictment, Richter painted a Magen David on a wall in the village while Yehuda Landsberg poured the flammable liquid on the front of the vehicles, a private car and a truck. Yehuda Savir allegedly set the cars ablaze. The three left together. Residents of the village detected the fire and extinguished it, telling police the damage to the two vehicles was 90,000 NIS.
The three were arrested about six weeks later and held under harsh conditions by the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet). Landsberg and Savir cracked under interrogation and told interrogators of their actions. They were released on bail but Savir was rearrested by IDF police since he is AWOL (Absent Without Official Leave) from the army.

IF they had such good evidence as is claimed, so why the need to torture them for 10 days until they cracked?
Obviously, they didn’t have evidence so they had to “create evidence”.
