Ichud Hatzalah reports that a malfunction of a carousel in the amusement park in the Convention Center grounds in Tel Aviv resulted in injuries. EMS personnel treated 21 children, apparently all with light injuries. The cause of the mishap is under investigation.
The incident occurred on Thursday, the second day of Chol Hamoed Pesach in Eretz yisrael. EMT Avi Yosefi reported it appears the carousel stopped suddenly, resulting in the injuries. He added “It was a miracle that there were no children with more serious injuries”. Magen David Adom and Ichud Hatzalah treated a total of 21 children ages 6-13. MDA paramedic Yaarit Farkash said “there was hysteria at the scene upon our arrival”.
The victims were transported to Dana, Schneider and Wolfson Hospitals.

I now know the difference between carousels and merry-go-rounds. I think.
I wouldn’t call that ride a carousel….
This is more like Flying Swings. Baruch Hashem that no one was seriously hurt becauase when a ride of such breaks the people go flying toward the center. Now if it was at a high speed the people will go at a high speed into the poll in the middle

It’s time Tel Aviv again strengthen its traditional Jewish concerns and decide strongly against public offenses of Shabbos and Yom Tov (such as advocating public transportation when it’s against the Torah).
