Mortar rockets were fired into the Shar HaNegev Regional Council on Wednesday, 9 Nissan 5774, resulting in infrastructure damage in one of the communities. B’chasdei Hashem there were no reports of loss of life or injuries. Residents in that community reported the Red Alert sirens did not warn of the incoming rockets.

In an earlier attack from northern Gaza into southern Israel earlier in the week, sirens failed to sound as well. Baruch Hashem there were no injuries or damage reports in that attack.

On Thursday, 10 Nissan, at about noon, Gaza based terrorists fired at IDF soldiers operating along the S. Gaza border fence. B’chasdei Hashem there were no fatalities or injuries. The soldiers returned fire.
