Did Hitler marry a Jew? Quite possibly

adolf_hitlerAccording to the documentary set to air this week on England’s Channel 4, genetic researchers have found evidence suggesting that Hitler’s long-time girlfriend and eventual wife, Eva Braun, may have been halakhikly  Jewish.

The UK’s Independent reported that researches from the show “Dead Famous DNA,” using strands of hair found on an old hairbrush belonging to Braun, have identified “specific sequence within the mitochondrial DNA, a small genome within the mitochondria of the cell that is passed down the maternal line from mother to daughter unchanged over the generations, belonging to haplogroup N1b1, which is associated with Ashkenazi Jews.”

Although the find has sparked controversy, the evidence is not definitive. In order to prove that the hair sample being analyzed is unmistakably Braun’s, DNA samples would need to be taken from one of Braun’s surviving descendants who have until now refused to cooperate with the research. Additionally, producers of the show have come under fire for purchasing a sample of hair they mistakenly thought belonged to Hitler himself for 3,000 pounds.

  1. Does it make a difference?

Hitler YM”SH was just like a stick in the hand of HKB”H. It was HKB”H that did to us what He wanted to do. Why? Nobody knows yet.

There have been given at least a Dozen different reasons offered by Gedolim of all sects, (I even heard someone claim that the color of our Tefilin is might be wrong) which shows that we still don’t know the true reason.

But why would a father hit his children without even hinting to them what got him so upset?

  2. 1. There is no such things as “Jewish” DNA. While one can learn much from DNA, it is fairly useless for determining who is Jewish. A DNA profile found among Ashkenazi women would also be common among German women.

    2. Jews have lived in Germany since ancient times – this is proven from archeological finds such as a mikva from the Roman period (meaning, we were there before the bulk of the ancestors of the Germans arrived). It should also be noted that in pre-Christian times, it appears that conversions (especially of women) were not uncommon, further mixing DNAs.

    3. The Nazis, like the Zionists, normally only cared about three generations.

    4. Articles like this are sensational trash, an no more.

    False
DNA is not something one believes in or not. It is a complex molecular structure. You can think of it like a genetic fingerprint.
