The second stage has a much higher fat content.

Generally speaking, IMT products contain 87% water, 3.8% fat, 1.0% protein, and 7% lactose.  But, the delivery device has built-in AI technology which is dynamic and adapts to your infant’s needs in stages.

OVER HOW LONG A PERIOD ARE THESE STAGES?

The delivery-device modulates the protein content from 1.4–1.6 g/100 mL in Stage One (in the first 90 days) to 0.8–1.0 g/100 mL in Stage Two (at 90 to 120 days) and to 0.7–0.8 g/100 mL in Stage Three (after six months.)

DOES IMT CHANGE UP EVERYTHING?

Not everything.  In all three stages, however, IMT’s delivery-device’s lactose content is fairly constant. The stable concentration of lactose is important in maintaining a constant osmotic pressure. Lactose also aids the absorption of minerals and calcium.
