FDNY is on the scene of a fire at 2007 Surf Avenue, near West 20th Street, with a fire in a 13th-floor apartment. Two NYPD officers have been seriously injured, with one of them in cardiac arrest, and CPR being performed. It appears they suffered severe smoke inhalation, although this has not yet been confirmed by authorities.
