Due to the fact that garbage pickup in many areas of Miami Beach is only on Tuesdays and Fridays, and that people will have household chometz garbage accumulated from Friday until Erev Pesach on Monday, Kosher Miami has once again arranged for a garbage truck to accept household garbage on Monday morning, Erev Pesach, April 14th.
The truck will be parked on the corner of Chase Avenue and 40th Street in front of the municipal parking lot from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
When bringing your household garbage, you MUST place the garbage into the back of the truck. There will be no one there to accept your garbage from you or to place it into the truck for you. Do NOT leave your garbage on the ground. If the truck is full when you get there and there is no room for it in the truck, do not leave your garbage there.
Only residential household waste is allowed. No commercial waste, construction debris, hazardous materials or large items are allowed.
Have a Kosher and Happy Pesach!
