After months of investigations, detectives have informed the Stark family that an arrest is imminent in connection to the murder of Menachem Stark, the NY Post is reporting. Although a date has not been set for an arrest, there is speculation that it will occur before Pesach or immediately after.
The chief suspect in the case is a contractor that was hired by Stark on various projects. The contractor has been connected to to the minivan that was used in the abduction. There was also a mysterious cell phone strapped underneath Stark’s car that was used as a tracking device. The phone has also been connected to the contractor. Law-enforcement was also able to track the cellphone of one of the suspects in the area where Stark’s lifeless body was found/

there actually is no new news in this article. the info about the van, cell phone, and contractor were all published several weeks ago, and there too it said that arrest was imminent.
i would just repeat what a ywn commenter said that time, and fervently hope the contractor is not a Yid.
So if you are a contractor that was hired by Stark and connected to the minivan that was used in the abduction and a cell phone strapped underneath Stark’s car, are you waiting around until after Pesach or are you going to disappear asap? Why not just give his height, skin & eye color and initials while they’re at it??

It doesn’t sound good the whole thing. But I think the reason the police saying they will make an arrest is because they are under a lot of pressure from the community in Williamsburg and they want to come them down so they make promises
The police believe they know who did it, but have little evidence. They are hoping by releasing this info that the suspect will make a move and prove their case.

And there is great danger to everyone – except possibly the guilty party – when the police believe they know who did it, but have no evidence.
