One of the soldiers wounded in this week’s bomb attack along the Syrian border with Israel remains in life-threatening condition.
A bomb was detonated while a number of paratroopers operating along the border got out of their armored vehicle to check the situation.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu visited the wounded paratroopers from the 202nd Brigade in Rambam Medical Center on Wednesday, 17 Adar II. Among the wounded are Ohad Patzinish, Tamir Movshovitz and Michael Polishuk, who are likely to be discharged in the coming days. Major A., the deputy battalion commander who wounded only sustained light injuries. He too should be released soon. One soldier remains in serious condition following emergency surgery for shrapnel injuries to his head.
Lt. Tamir Movshovitz, 24, the deputy company commander and a resident of Hashmonaim, got married two weeks before the incident and only returned to active duty several hours before the bomb attack.
