Jordan Remains Diplomatically Correct

jord.jpgJordan will not be recalling its ambassador to Israel and it will not be ousting Israel’s ambassador to Amman, at least not at present. In addition, the Jordanian parliament voted not to cut ties with Israel, which was the battle cry following the shooting of a Jordanian judge at the Allenby Crossing.

The judge tried grabbing a weapon from an IDF soldier and he was shot dead as a result.

Jordan issued angry statements and summoned Israel’s ambassador to Amman for an explanation. The Jordanians however are calming down and have placed all radical responses on hold, at least until Israel announces the findings of its investigation into the fatal incident.
