One might say it was a historic event as the Lelov Rebbe Shlita arrived in a Beit Shemesh polling station to vote, for the first time in his life.
As a rule, this rebbe does not instruct his chassidim how to vote, and the admorim of the Laluv dynasty have not been known to be seen voting.
However it is reported the rebbe’s father, Rebi Shimon ZATZAL did vote in a Tzfas election when it was as frum candidate against a non-frum candidate, as is the case the Beit Shemesh reelection.

Because if someone is frum that would automatically make them the better candidate??
Actually, yes. The Rambam brings in the Laws of Kings that if there are two sons and one is qualified to be king but the other is know to be G-D fearing, we pass over the qualified one and train the G-D fearing one how to govern.
DELETED.
Moderators Note: You mean like the dishonesty the organization you work for has engaged in – multiple times. Right? Should YWN publish that perhaps?
The Eida and Satmar have a prohibition against voting in national elections, not local elections. (Even though they skip local elections most times, it isn’t a rule against them.)
3 now we are curious!
The torah is our leader, our leaders tell us what the torah says.
