A special tribute was held for the members of Ichud Hatzalah in Beit Shean, Migdal HaEmek and Gilboa branches attended by a number of notables, including Migdal HaEmek Chief Rabbi HaGaon HaTzaddik Yitzchok Dovid Grossman Shlita. A new ambucycle for Migdal HaEmek was dedicated at the gala event along with four new defibrillator units for Beit Shean and Nazareth.

Beit Shean Mayor Rafi Ben-Sheetrit was on hand as well along with Jezreel Valley Regional Council head Eyal Betzer, and Ichud (United) Hatzalah leaders and members.

The keynote address was given by Rav Grossman, who stressed the significance of the life-saving work of volunteers acknowledging the dedication of the volunteers who are moser nefesh on a daily basis.

Rabbi Yitzchak Buskila spoke of the “miracle” when his infant son was saved by Ichud Hatzalah responders who arrived quickly enough to save him from choking to death on a foreign object.

The night was uplifting and reaffirmed the dedication of community leaders to work with the nationwide organization that offers life-saving pre-hospital response to all residents of Israel free of charge.
