Maran HaGaon HaRav Aaron Yehuda Leib Shteinman Shlita will be traveling to Beit Shemesh to participate in an election kenos. The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 5 Adar II 5774 in Beis Medrash Lev Eliyahu on Nachal Sorek Street. It is set to begin at 17:30.
It is hoped that the presence of the gadol hador will send a clear message to voters to come out in support of the incumbent, Rabbi Moshe Abutbul.
The city’s re-election is set for this coming Tuesday, 9 Adar II. Abutbul will be running against Eli Cohen, who is backed by the Likud and Bayit Yehudi parties.
