Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and other senior government officials on Tuesday evening slammed US President Joe Biden’s flagrant interference in Israeli domestic affairs.

Speaking to the press on Tuesday while waiting for Air Force One at the Raleigh-Durham airport, Biden responded to a question about the “health of democracy” in Israel.

“Like many strong supporters of Israel I’m very concerned,” Biden said. “I’m concerned that they get this straight. They cannot continue down this road and I’ve sort of made that clear. Hopefully, the prime minister will act in a way that he’ll try to work out some genuine compromise but that remains to be seen.”

Reporter: “Are you inviting Prime Minister Netanyahu to the White House, sir? Do you believe he’ll be coming to Washington?”

Biden: “No. Not in the near term.”

Biden’s words contradicted a statement by US Ambassador Tom Nides on Tuesday morning saying that Netanyahu will likely be invited to Washington after Pesach.

Netanyahu responded to Biden’s unwanted interference by issuing a diplomatically worded statement, saying: “I have known President Biden for over 40 years, and I appreciate his longstanding commitment to Israel. The alliance between Israel and the United States is unbreakable and always overcomes the occasional disagreements between us.

“My administration is committed to strengthening democracy by restoring the proper balance between the three branches of government, which we are striving to achieve via a broad consensus. Israel is a sovereign country which makes its decisions by the will of its people and not based on pressures from abroad, including from the best of friends.”

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir responded by saying that although “we respect the democratic system there [in the US]…they need to understand that Israel is an independent country and not another star on the American flag. It needs to be clear to countries around the world – the people here had an election and expressed their will.”

Culture Minister Miki Zohar (Likud) tweeted, “It breaks my heart to see how much damage was caused to Israel from all the fake news disseminated about our justified judicial reform.”

The Biden administration has made a regular practice of meddling into Israeli affairs.

  1. Liberal Jews are a plague on the world and you moderate ny Democrats in your ivory towers are enabling them by voting Democrat.

  2. “You’re not invited to my house because you’re a big meanie.” Everything these people say is scripted, and the script is rediculous. These are men wearing makeup. There is no democracy in Israel. It’s a police state. Enough with these empty platitudes. If actor Bibi did come to America, he would talk about how vibrant the democracy is. I hope for your own sake you see through this nonsense. It is not newsworthy. These aren’t the people actually in charge. No public figure is actually in a position of real power. If Bibi ever broke with the script, he’d end up like Rabin. If Biden ever broke iwth the script, he’d end up further drugged and incapacitated and they’d have to replace him with actress Kamala. They wouldn’t JFK him. It’s that simple. Men wearing makeup. Not real.

  3. Once again YWN runs a misleading and FALSE headline.
Biden never said “I Won’t Invite Netanyahu To The White House” he was asked a question and he said “no” “not at this time”
Lies…YWN you do more harm than good when you slander the president-I am a Republican but dont lower yourselves by playing the “Biden is bad for the Jews card”….
    Grow up.
You want Mi K’amcha Yisroel? Then act like it!

  4. Like every other lefty fascist, Brainless Brandon believes that elections only matter when their side wins. Of course Dorah, jackkk and huju agree since he’s the high priest of their woke religion and they sing mah yofis to him every day in their matching Kapo uniforms. May they spend eternity together with their incontinent, Ensure-drooling hero in a very hot climate.

  5. Did King George III invite George Washington or Benjamin Franklin to the palace? The only time the uppity serfs get invited to the palace is when they come to bow down and swear a solemn oath of obedience to their masters.

The Democrats are closely allied with the left-wing upper crust in Eretz Yisrael who don’t allow something minor like the will of the electorate to force changes in policy. The US is sending a message to its vassal that they need to elect someone more obedient to their overlord. Apparently some misguided Israelis got deluded into thinking that Israel was a sovereign and democratic country.

  6. The video does not match the headline. “Not in the near term,” could just mean not in the next two weeks, for all we know. It can’t be interpreted much broader than that.

  7. The fools at the Likud could have had this finish a long time ago…

Instead they let it drag out, and stayed quiet while the left incited and did many illegal action without a consequence

  8. Hasn’t the Obama/Biden administration interfered in previous elections in Israel? Nothing new! Israel has allowed itself to be bullied by the Democrats in Washington and today is no different. Biden is a disgraceful person and a failure as president.

  9. “how much damage was caused to Israel from all the fake news disseminated about our justified judicial reform.” Very very accurate, indeed.

  10. Now THAT’S the US president that I voted for!

Perhaps now is the time to remind the dear readers of YWN that frum souls used to say a tefilah for the president before Artscroll whitewashed it and censored it out of existence. Remember the Birnbaum siddur?

  11. Unlike those white racist Republican Trump supporters who hate Jews, Joe Biden and his democrat friends in the media and State department just love Jews to pieces.

  12. Biden will be gone in less than 2 years ,so don’t worry about him. Judicial reform ,however, is long, long overdo and Netanyahu has to hold strong against the Soros and NIF- funded leftist elitists to proceed with judicial reform without compromise! Find a way to get rid of the leftist elitist Attorney General first. Free Israel from the leftist elitist oppression, JUDICIAL REFORM NOW!

  13. @Yossi Name Edited
THATS RIGHT! a siddur that just printed the davening! Not a siddure that told us what to say, what to think and how to do anything else!
    Yea!
My Koren Shabbat siddur has tefillot for the President and the USA Armed forces! (also for some strange reason the Prime Minister and Armed Forces of Canada!??
I use my Birnbaum siddur on RH/YK even though no one else does and you should see the looks I get-taka they think i am conservative! Although I really could use someone standing upo and announcing the page numbers.
    Mi K’amcha Yisroel!

  14. Very simple: under all the idiots: Gadolhadorah, rt, huju, rest of leftists clowns on this site’s preferred system now in place in Israel, the judiciary appoints their successors, thus, perpetuating their limitless power. Under the proposed judicial reform, they would adapt a system like in the US, where the government in power appoints the judiciary, creating somewhat of a balance. That’s a threat to Democracy, at least according to the one that huju and rt voted for. Therefore, it looks like there’s no Democracy in the US, or anywhere else in the world, for that matter. Wow. We’re in bad shape indeed.

  15. I wouldn’t step foot in America……Biden and Hitler are running a cool second on many things……gender splicing…..reckless engagement of a human being…..Bibi doesn’t need the White House nor the Vatican…what we need is all our history returned to us from the illegal palaces and dens of filth from those around the world…217 years till 6000…..bring my home HOME

  16. “Israel is a sovereign country which makes its decisions by the will of its people and not based on pressures from abroad, including from the best of friends.” : You must convince your own people about this and with concrete actions, all this violence is unnaceptable, if anyone trully cares about Israel, the first thing to do is to work on the cost of life ( housing, food etc.. the most basics things ) and stop this madness, why are people being assaulted for being on one side or another? Did you do anything to moderate the main stream medias content? Why did you allow foreign countries to controle the medias? A lot of work to do and it’s pretty much the same anywhere else in the world

  17. Bibi, you are invited to my home anytime you wish to come to southeast Florida.
Maybe even coordinate it to a visit to Trump. He isn’t far from me.

  18. To Malacha HaMooooovies: Biden didn’t say he wouldn’t invite Bibi in the near time, but in the near term. That means his term of office, or until the next election. So yes, the title is correct.
