Israeli Jets Target Iranian Weapons at Aleppo International Airport

Large explosions were reported overnight on the outskirts of Aleppo following suspected Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) strikes.

Photos and pictures circulated on Syrian social media showing continuous explosions and a large fire burning, reportedly at Aleppo International Airport.

Syrian State Media SANA, reported that Israel launched missiles from the Mediterranean Sea, which struck Aleppo International Airport, resulting in material damage.

The report made no mention of possible injuries.

The Israel Defense Forces did not confirm the strikes in line with their policy of not commenting on specific air raids in Syria. Yet, they have admitted to broadly carrying out hundreds of strikes against Iran-supported groups looking to gain control in the country.
