Chabad’s portable Tanya printing press was on hand at the Million Man Atzeres and a special edition of Tanya was printed on location dedicated to “להצלת התורה העם והארץ”.
Organizers of the Tanya effort told the media that this was the first time that Tanya was printed in a forum of hundreds of thousands of Yidden, making it an especially memorable event.
When the printing was completed the chassidim began dancing and making a ‘l’chaim’ to mark the occasion, the printing of the Tanya amid the government’s efforts to extinguish the light of Torah in Eretz Yisrael.

Are they going to publish in the newly formed Republic of Crimea? They can tell Putin that it’s a new edition for the Rebbe’s library in the custody of the Kremlin.
Why is this a news story. A fringe group of Judaism fulfill their misagas and Yeshiva World has to make a story of it? Lubavitz tries to steal the thunder of the effort of others.

By the way most Frumme yidden -which I assume you all are- belive in certain things accomplished מלמעלה through ruchniusdike peulos. The Lubavitcher Rebbe who know (just a bit) about such things, told his chassidim to print tanya in all places yidden live as such a peulo (besides for other reasons explained in his sicos – if anyone is intrested they are printed).
Therefore, mashpim and rabbonim decided that at such a asifa of all yidden it would be proper to do such a peulo.
