The paratrooper officer who neutralized the Ir Dovid terrorist with two bullets lodged in his body has taken a turn for the worse.

His family has asked the public to participate in a public tefillah at the Kosel on Tuesday evening, Arutz Sheva reported.

“During the last Shabbos, our beloved friend Nadav Chaim ben Orit Chaya was seriously injured in an attack in Ir Dovid while he was fighting and protecting his family and thwarting greater harm. Nadav is ventilated and sedated and his condition is still serious,” said his friend Avraham Oz.

“At the request of the family, tonight we will hold a central prayer at the Kosel at 10:00 p.m. We ask those who can make an effort to come and bring more people with them, and with Hashem’s help we will soon see geulah and yeshuah.”

The public is asked to daven for the refuah sheleimah of Nadav Chaim ben Orit Chaya b’toch sha’ar cholei Yisrael.
