Magen David Adom Director-General Eli Bin spoke with the media as he travels from Elad to Yerushalayim. Bin explained he inaugurated the new MDA station in Elad and he is now heading to the capital for the Million Man Atzeres.

Bin explained that hundreds of MDA personnel will be on hand as will be dozens of ambulances and a number of first aid stations will be operational. MDA has taken personnel and ambulances from other cities towards staffing the Million Man Atzeres. Bin reports MDA at the atzeres will be completely operational by noon.

For those making their way to the capital, a serious accident has occurred on the Jerusalem – Tel Aviv Highway in the direction of the capital, opposite Telshe Stone. Two trucks and minibus and a bus are involved. Traffic is at a standstill.

A serious accident is also reported on the Modi’in – Jerusalem Highway, Route 443 in the direction of the capital, resulting in major delays.
