Israeli security forces sealed off the home of the Neve Yaakov terrorist in the At-Tur neighborhood in eastern Jerusalem overnight on Motzei Shabbos.
Following the murderous attack on Friday night, Israel Police, Border Guard officers, and IDF soldiers raided the home of Alqam Khayri, the 21-year-old terrorist who was killed by police officers after he fled the scene of the attack, and evacuated its occupants.
Some family members were arrested and transferred for questioning.
After the required approvals were received on Motzei Shabbos, the entrances to the home were sealed. A statement from the police on Sunday morning said that the operation was successfully completed and no casualties were reported.
The decision for the immediate sealing of the home was made in a meeting of the Israeli security cabinet on Motzei Shabbos, promoted by National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
“It’s good that my suggestion to seal [the terrorist’s home immediately] was accepted, and soon we will seal the entire home,” Ben-Gvir said. “The speed of the response, which was not demonstrated by the previous government, is important. At the same time, we need to implement a series of responses in order to make clear to terrorists that there’s a new government in Jerusalem, and Israel is going on the offense and not just defending itself.”

“The speed of the response, which was not demonstrated by the previous government, is important. Good Job Ben Gvir, and whilst at it, seal off the entire supreme court building and never let those wicked miscreant [so called] judges reenter the evil supreme court.
התגרות באמות.
It’s time to recognize that jews have more freedom in USA (and even in Russia under President Putin) than in Isreal. Go-d send us to exile, And if you want at least a little freedom just leave isreal until messiah will pick us up
JayD,
Are you praying that all the Jews of Eretz Yisrael including the Gedolim and the Yeshivos be kicked out? If so, may your wish for exile be fulfilled for you and you only. May you spend every night in a different place for the rest of your life.
The Knesset should make this new law:
The homes of terrorists become the legal property of the victim’s families.
But that cannot be done, because Israel’s Arab-loving “Supreme Court” would declare that new law to be “racist” or “unreasonable”.
Israel’s entire “Supreme Court” must be removed from power, and replaced by loyal Jews — no Arabs on Israel’s new Supreme Court, they do not deserve it, because of all the innocent Jews they murdered, including children and Olympic athletes.
JayD, Be careful what you pray for, you may get it!
Who says messiah will pick you up? People like you didnt leave Mitzrayim!
Only 4 fifths left. If you are are lucky enough to get to Israel. Where do you think messiah will “drop” you.
Probably in the Negev in a tent w some bedoins! Certainly not in Rechavia!
JayD: First of all it’s spelled התגרות באומות. Secondly, it doesn’t mean letting evil terrorists get away with murder. The Israeli government is the current existing government there now whether you or anyone else likes it or not, and has the responsibility to do what they can to protect their citizens and that’s what they are doing. Thirdly, do you really think all the tzadikim who were moser nefesh over the past two thousand years to make their way to Eretz Yisroel didn’t know Hashem exiled us? I’ve BH been to Eretz Yisroel many times and never felt less freedom than I do in America. What it’s time for is to have some compassion on fellow Yidden and not blame the victims. There are enough anti semites and leftist meshugaim in the world doing that already we don’t need self hating Jews doing it too.
We have to show a strong hand against bad people. Thank you for doing this right away. We have to do the right thing. Let the bad people live in fear. God bless you for making the right decisions. KOL HAKOVOD.
As a certified smaw welder, the IDF needs to do better training, that guy sticking I’m his rod that many times was embarrassing to watch.
