The price at the pump for Israelis is on the rise again, beginning on motzei Shabbos Parshas Pekudei 5774. The National Infrastructure Ministry announced the price increase will take effect at midnight.
The price of a liter of 95 octane unleaded fuel will increase by 17 agorot at the self service pump to 7.53 NIS.
Based on the Bank of Israel closing rate of Thursday 27 Adar I of $1/3.517 shekels, the gas price is the equivalent of $8.56/US gallon.
One wishing to use a full service pump will pay 18 agorot a liter more.
