Three shooting attacks toward IDF troops took place on Tuesday evening near Shechem within three hours.
Terrorists who are trying to re-establish the Lion’s Den terror group after the IDF destroyed its bomb lab and killed or arrested most of its members two months ago took responsibility for the attacks.
The terrorists opened fire at IDF soldiers at the Tell er-Ras outpost near Har Bracha and then at the Shomron regional division headquarters south of Shechem. Additional IDF forces were sent to the area to search for the terrorists and they also came under fire.
B’Chasdei Hashem, there were no injuries among IDF forces.

Following the shootings, Public Security Minister-designate Itamar Ben-Gvir slammed outgoing Defense Minister Benny Gantz. “Gantz, this is on your watch. Instead of reinforcing the reserve soldiers and eliminating the terrorists who open fire and flee like mice, Gantz holds back and the soldiers are being fired at non-stop. Gantz, stop the madness! Don’t wait for a miracle!”
