New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is facing more questions about apparent traffic violations by his security team.
The mayor deferred to the New York Police Department on Friday when asked about a video that showed his two-vehicle SUV caravan speeding, running stop signs and not signaling when changing lanes. The drivers are NYPD detectives.
Following a meeting with the mayor on Friday, Police Commissioner William Bratton told reporters he wasn’t “overly concerned” about what he saw on the video.
The video aired Thursday on WCBS-TV. That was just two days after de Blasio released a plan that aims to eliminate all traffic fatalities.

Liberals are great at telling everyone else what to do but those rules do not apply to them.
Re Comment No. 1: You cannot recall an elected official unless you can recall his name.
