Negotiations to close a takeover deal between Tnuva and China’s Bright-Food Group are apparently nearing an end as a deal appears imminent, at least according to some reports. Representatives of Bright-Food Group are expected to arrive in Israel later in the week for meetings with senior officials and the board of directors and it is possible the deal will be closed.
Globes reports the representatives of kibbutzim in Tnuva have yet to meet with Chinese officials and they are not saying if they are for or against the deal, which is expected to net Tnuva 8 billion NIS.
