Developers hoping to open one of four Las Vegas-style casinos planned for upstate New York are laying out their vision for an old Catskills resort region.
The Times Herald-Record of Middletown reports that Sal Semola, the head of New York City-based Muss Development and Connecticut’s Foxwoods Catskills Resort, unveiled the plans Monday night at Liberty High School in Sullivan County.
Semola says the plans include a casino, sports complex, 400-room hotel, town houses and a 27-hole golf course. The developers want to build the $400 million resort on 1,200 acres adjacent to the old Grossinger’s resort site.
Other developers are vying to build a casino in the Catskills, including the operators of Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun casino.
Other potential casino sites include the Southern Tier and the Albany-Saratoga area.

“will they have glatt kosher restaurants”
I surely hope not! Casinos are a plague!!! Should we promote glatt kosher restaurants in strip clubs?
