[COMMUNICATED CONTENT] This Motzei Shabbos, February 8, 2014 will be an exclusive gathering of heimishe couples in Boro Park.
This separate seating event will boast a lavish Melava Malka by Lou G. Siegel. The dynamic speaker, Rabbi Zechariah Wallerstein will address the crowd and then be part of a panel of Rabbis to answer chinuch questions in an “ASK THE RABBI” session. Zmiros, live music by Yossy Fromowitz, and a surprise gift bag are all part of what people are already calling ” An Evening To Remember”.
The goal is to have couples hear, at the same time, topics related to shalom bayis and chinuch, and to find the right solutions. Having both the husband and wife listen to the same thing at the same time can open a path towards positive changes together.
This project is one of the most recent innovations of Ohr Naava. Ohr Naava, which until now was solely associated with Flatbush, has been paving its way into Boro Park, bringing tremendous inspiration to the community. Originally, Rabbi Wallerstein, it’s founder, came in to give a three week workshop in November 2013. When he was done, the crowd begged for more. Thus, for the past several months, Ohr Naava has instituted a biweekly shiur on “the Parsha and how it pertains to us in 2014”. After seeing the extremely positive feedback and results, it’s now inviting couples to experience this together.
Mr Chesky Kauftheil our host, is one of the visionaries behind this event. Mr. Kauftheil is a well known friend to our community. He demonstrates extraordinary devotion and generosity to the community’s varied needs. One of his recent projects, Pardas Shlomo was established L”N his brother in law Shomo Zalman Ben Elimelech (Bleier). This venue was created to host gatherings which would encourage learning and growth.
