Report: PM Netanyahu Willing to Give it [Almost] All Away

biblAccording to a report released by Walla News, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is willing to give away 90% of all of Yehuda and Shomron in talks with the PA (Palestinian Authority). The report is based on sources very close to the ongoing negotiations.

However, despite the willingness of this and previous prime ministers to give away portions of Eretz Yisrael, the PA has principles and remains unwilling to compromise, demanding no less than 97% of those areas.

The prime minister’s vision includes maintaining control over the large population areas only, including Gush Etzion, Maale Adumim and Ariel.

The PA however is not willing to just sign any deal and Abu Mazen is not showing any signs of flexibility in his refusal to recognize Israel, nor in his demands that Har Habayis move to PA control, that eastern Yerushalayim serve as the capital of the State of Palestine and that Israel release all terrorists as part of a peace agreement.

The fact that the PA leader is seeking the release of terrorists is not difficult to understand for terrorists look out for one another. However, it is less obvious as to how the United States can support such a step, which is both morally reprehensible and unintelligible since the US claims to have learned the lessons of 9/11.

The White House, State Department or Secretary of State John Kerry have yet to announce just what the link is between living side-by-side in peace and tranquility and the release of convicted murderous terrorists since their release would only impede long-lasting peace in the region.

  1. Terrorists were released as part of the Good Friday Agreement in Northern Ireland, so there is history for this. However, the key here is what guarantee does Israel have that returning territory won’t lead to more violence?

  2. You cannot give away what is not yours, and right now, Yehuda and Shomron are not Netanyahu’s to give away. He is prime minister of the State of Israel, which occupies Yehuda and Shomron but does not own it. When Hashem sees fit to return us to Eretz Yisrael, we will return and not give it away. For now, there are a lot of gentiles there, and maybe they should govern it without help from Mr. Netanyahu or the State of Israel.

  3. The end will be that they will give up everything like before the 67 war its the words & predicated by the late stamr רבי זצ”ל

  4. #3 – Al tiftach peh laSoton! #1 they already released too many terrorists. Have they all gone back to farming their land and living peacefully? This stupid Kerry and his evil boss should have a misa meshuna!

  5. I truly have no clue what are talking about…..who gave up ‘everything” before the 1967 war? What is everything? What word were predicated by the stamr? what did they predicate??

  6. to post # 3 and the REBI of chabad said the same , that the Israel gov will be willing to give away all of the land they fought for in previous years , but for some ness the Arabs wont except.
i personally don’t know who has the head more in the sand

  7. nfgo3 – who exactly do we “occupy” Yehuda and Shomron from? Jordan? Because that was the last recognized country to control that land before we won it back. Perhaps we are occupying it from it’s “rightful Palestinian owners” ? If you think that is the case then newsflash – they claim the entirety of Eretz Yisrael as theirs including Benei Brak, so if they have a claim to Yehuda and Shomron then why don’t they have just an equal claim to anywhere else? Either it belongs to us or to them… very simple. If according to your alternative criterium that “there are a lot of gentiles there” perhaps we should cede South Tel Aviv to Sudan and Etria or give Tel Aviv central bus station to Thailand and the Philippines.

  8. No. 7: You are wrong in so many ways that I will ignore some of your wrongness, starting with your unfamiliarity with English. I am fluent in only one language, and you are evidently fluent in at least 2, and English is not the first one.

The State of Israel “occupies” Yehuda and Shomron, regardless of who it occupies it “from.” I am well aware that before Israel occupied Yehuda and Shomron, the Kingdom of Jordan did so. So what? I have long thought that the State of Israel should invite Jordan to re-occupy Yehuda and Shomron, and let the Jordanians and Palestinians have a brotherly fight over the region. I never spoke of “rightful” owners of any portion of Palestine, though I do believe with all my being that when Hashem returns us to Eretz Yisrael, we will be its rightful owners. Until then, “rightful” is a concept of humans, and most humans – Jews and gentiles – have a weak grasp of “rightful”. Your other extrapolations about my beliefs about ownership are also wrong. In particular, the UN recognized the jurisdiction of the State of Israel over Tel Aviv in 1947, and so I see no need to concede ownership of any portions of Tel Aviv to others, as you propose.

And, one other thing: I think “criterium” is a waterless fish tank with moist soil, moss, leaves and small critters in it. It is more commonly called a “terrarium,” and “criterium” is a proper if less-used term for “terrarium”.

  9. So called gadolhadorah, what’s with the Oslo peace u forget what the gave back & they the ציונים will have to give up everything like before the 6day war & the hole so called state of Israel will be בטל before משיח will come בב”א
