B’chasdei Hashem, there were no fatalities or injuries when an Arab terrorist on Wednesday 28 Shevat 5774 opened fire at an IDF outpost close to noon. The gunfire rang out in the Binyamin Regional Council district between the communities of Ateret and N’vei Tzuf.

Soldiers returned fire, killing the terrorist. The terrorist was reportedly a resident of Jalazoun, a PA community adjacent to Beit El.

Elsewhere in Shomron, near Shavei Shomron, a driver tried to run down an IDF tracker. The intended victim was unharmed and he fired at the vehicle, which sped off. A large force was brought to the area and a manhunt for the driver and vehicle was launched.
