The Shaked Committee, which is finalizing the new chareidi draft law, on Wednesday 14 Shevat 5774 announced service in ZAKA and Ichud Hatzalah will be viewed as an accepted national program.

This joins an earlier decision recognizing Chabad shluchim around the world as an approved state service as well.
