It was not a restful night for residents of Ashkelon and the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council as rocket attack sirens sounded at about 01:15 Thursday morning, 15 Shevat 5774. Six rockets were fired towards Israel by Gaza-based terrorists. B’chasdei Hashem five of the rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome. There are no reports of fatalities or injuries.
The IAF retaliated during the predawn hours. Media sources in Gaza are reporting at least five people wounded, among them women and children.
