The Israel Air Force early Monday evening 12 Shevat 5774 attacked terrorist targets in Gaza. The aerial strike followed the third wave of rocket fire into southern Israel today. The first rockets struck during the early morning hours, ahead of the levaya for former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.

The second rocket attack came shortly after the conclusion of the funeral in the Sycamore Farm in the Negev. A third wave of rocket fire was detected less than two hours later, leading to the aerial strike.

According to reports from Gaza, the air force targeted the Islamic Jihad in the Khan Yunis and Dir el-Balach areas of Gaza. Also targeted was an al-Quds Brigade objective in Gaza City. There are no reports of injuries in any of the aerial strikes.
