El Al Airlines announced on Thursday that it is canceling its routes from Israel to the cities of Toronto, Brussels, and Warsaw by the end of October.
According to the airline’s statement, the canceled routes are a result of the travel demands in the post-COVID era.
However, some Israeli media outlets are reporting that the move is the result of a shortage of pilots due to a longtime labor dispute.

metro toronto has almost a quarter million jews (250,000), they should keep the direct flights.
brussels and warsaw have fewer than 10,000 jews each.
it makes no sense to cancel direct flights from toronto.
