A young talmid yeshiva, 16, was struck by a truck of Uzi Narkiss Blvd in Yerushalayim on Thursday morning, 8 Shevat. According to the Ichud Hatzalah report, the young cyclist sustained moderate-to-serious, transported to a local trauma center.

EMT Yechiel Stern explains the victim was heading to yeshiva when a truck hit him on the light rail tracks. He sustained multisystem trauma and therefore the decision was made to transport him to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital trauma unit. Stern adds that “miraculously the young man managed to jump off the bike and thereby avoided even more serious injuries.”
